From Animation to Video Production
Today marks the day that the final computer application class ends. Even though the course is over, that doesn’t mean my passion for art and animation is over. My final animation got a lot of praise from the middle school that the CS Exploratory class requests that I come and give them a presentation of my project sometime during quarter 3. This feedback makes me really proud because it inspired both teachers and students to reach out to me. Rather than showing them the same presentation I did in December, I’ve decided to make an entirely new animation for the exploratory class.
Other than continuing my animation passion, I’ve decided to reach out and find other ways to express my interest in art. For starters, I’m officially apart of the AIS Robotics team. I’ve decided to stay committed and help contribute to the new season of the First Robotics Competition by offering my time and determination to learn a different set of skills to build and make a robot. I’ve decided to take my art interests into Robotics because I was hoping to learn more on the CAD program and create the team a recruitment video to help inspire more people to join the team and a reveal video to showcase the final product.
This new project of mine isn’t graded because I won’t repeat the course once again, but with the new skills learned in computer applications, I can apply them to my personal projects. After this semester course, I feel like I’ve advanced onward with the profile of both a student and a learner. I’ve gained more confidence in my own art and want to express my talent to the world.
